C-Section Scar Treatment

Cesarean scars have a major effect on the body’s ability to function properly, and can restrict movement in any part of the body.

Scar tissue can continue to form for up to two years, and has the potential to spread in any direction inside of the body. Scar tissue is of inferior quality to the tissue that it replaces; it's weaker and less adaptable. Scar tissue can cause adhesions and decreased range of motion and, eventually, pain and dysfunction.

This protocol, developed by Becky Higginson, DC utilizes massage, fascial release, craniosacral therapy, gua sha, castor oil packs and therapeutic ultrasound to release and realign adhered tissues, as well as releasing negative emotions surrounding the scar.

Scar tissue massage is not painful and you will notice an immediate difference in your body after treatment.
