Describe a treatment with you?
A treatment with me is relaxing, refreshing, and healing. I start by asking questions about the different body systems. Along with feeling the pulses on the inner wrists and looking at the tongue, I get a bigger picture of the acupuncture points needed to help the body work on healing itself. Often times patients report to me they feel like they slipped away on a 'mini-vacation' or had their 'reset' button pushed.
Favorite thing about your job?
Being an acupuncturist honestly doesn't feel like a job! I love sharing the simplicity and effectiveness of acupuncture with others. I love helping people feel better. Also, introducing acupuncture and Chinese medicine to folks who thought most of their options were gone is very fulfilling.
Your ideal client?
I love working with all types of people. This question is always a hard one for me! Working with mamas who are on the cusp of bringing a new life into the world is very exciting and fun. I also enjoy working with people who are seeking help for their own mental health. I also really enjoy working with the geriatric community.
